The wooden cabits make the sound "warmer" and "richer" overall. It's quite pleasant to listen to these. However, what i really DON'T like is they lack dedicated drivers for the high frequencies, so my music sounds flat on the high notes compared to other higher-end 2.1 speakers (more expensive of course...) Small and fit nicely on my desktop. For money you can't beat the sound. Let's face it computer built in speakers are pretty unless.
